Hikvision DS-7608NXI-K1/8P 8-Channel PoE 1U K Series AcuSense 4K NVR for IP Cameras

The DS-7608NXI-K1/8P is an 8-channel PoE network video recorder from Hikvision's K Series. Eight built-in PoE ports power and connect IP cameras directly, so a small system needs no separate switch or power supplies for the cameras.

AcuSense separates people and vehicles from other movement and supports perimeter protection, motion detection 2.0 and facial recognition. Camera-side functions such as ANPR need compatible cameras. Integration is through ONVIF (profiles S and G), the Hikvision SDK and ISAPI. It runs from a 48 VDC supply.

Day to day, the recorder also gives you 8-channel synchronous playback, 1-channel RCA audio output and two-way audio, and up to 128 remote connections. Its working temperature range is -10 °C to 55 °C, so it suits a cupboard or comms room as well as a home setup. Two USB 2.0 ports, front and rear, handle exports and a mouse.

A replacement NVR needs IP cameras that work over PoE and are compatible with it. Check your cameras' PoE standard and total power draw against the 75 W budget.
