Product Description
The iDS-7204HUHI-M1/XT is a 4-channel hybrid DVR from Hikvision's AcuSense range. If your old recorder has failed and your cameras are a mix of coax types, this is a model worth checking against them: each input adapts between HDTVI, AHD, CVI and CVBS, and the recorder can also take IP cameras.
- Channels: 4 analogue inputs, expandable to up to 8 IP cameras of up to 8MP each
- Recording: up to 8MP at 8 fps on one channel, or 5MP at 12 fps
- Compression: H.265 Pro+
- Storage: one SATA bay, hard drives up to 12TB
- Outputs: HDMI and VGA at the same time, up to 2560 × 1440
- Audio: RCA in and out, plus audio over the coax cable from compatible cameras
AcuSense uses deep learning to tell people and vehicles from shadows, animals and weather, so alarms trigger on what matters. The recorder supports facial recognition on 2 channels and perimeter protection on 4, with AcuSearch to find events quickly in playback. It also has an RS-485 port for PTZ control, Ethernet for remote viewing and USB for backup.
It is a 1U unit that suits a desk or a rack. The hard drive is bought separately, so choose a surveillance-rated drive of the capacity you need.
