How to tell which system is installed

Examine the cable at one of the existing cameras. A flat, thin lead ending in a clip-in plug of the broadband type marks a network system, and the first answer applies. Coax cable is round, and its connector is a metal fitting that twists on: in that case the second answer applies. Where no camera has been fitted yet, the first answer applies.If you remain unsure, choose either answer and carry on. Nothing is sold until every part has passed a compatibility check against the others, and you may return to this answer later.
